Odonata (2019, rev. 2020)

For female voice, about 3:10, range E4-A5. On a poem by the composer celebrating the gaudy variety of the order Odonata, the dragonflies and damselflies. It concludes with a plea that such small wonders be noticed so they will then be valued. Mostly light and bright, with rhythm in the twilight between 3/4 and 6/8. Note: I decided to make some revisions to this one after its premiere, and the verison below includes those revisions. Available from North Star Music.
